Spiritual Bankruptcy vrs Spiritual Account

Spiritual Bankruptcy vrs Spiritual Account

Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Rom 8:17-19 NIV

To live on this earth and having not suffered in a guise is simply put, SPIRITUAL BANKRUPTCY. Spiritual bankruptcy is to be bankrupt in the spirit realm, put the other way; it means to have nothing put in your name that could be drawn as in a bank account on earth.

The question again is, “Is it possible to live on this earth and having not suffered in any way?” Obviously not, but we need to be told that it is not every kind of suffering that translate into spiritual bank account. If the person in question suffers as a lawbreaker; that is he suffers as a consequence of disobeying God’s commands that one should not think he will draw that as account
If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 1 Peter 4:15-16 NIV
What this means is that if you are presently suffering because of deliberate drug abuse or any such thing that is caused by your disobeying God’s command, you are suffering for nothing.

War Against Gay-Law. PNUR stand with American believers

PNUR family globally shares the pain of Christians and all decent people in United States of America (USA) in this war against one of the seven heads of the Beast- Gay Laws. We join them to say that no curt in the world has the jurisdiction to pass judgment on matters of the eternal destination of our souls. No court has the right to command Christians to move to Hellfire in their droves.
We wish to remind you that USA is an important country in the world, and that if this war is won in USA the rest of the Christian world will also overcome.

Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. Rev 2:10 NIV

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Rev 12:11 NIV

Stand firm in the tenacity the believers and ministers of USA are known for.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. Rom 16:20 NIV
Remember that the black liberation followed the same course; remember Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks.
We love you and are praying for you.

Warning to young ministers of the gospel

Warning to Young Ministers- Where is your real father?
Now Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. "My father! My father!" he cried. "The chariots and horsemen of Israel!"  2 Kings 13:14NIV
I address this message specifically to those of you coming into the Christian ministry fresh. It was in 1994 that the Lord began to stir me and by 1996 the PNUR(www.pnurnigeria.org) has become very clear; then I moved from Onitsha in Anambra State to Owerri in Imo State all in Nigeria. Looking back at those years there are things I wish somebody had sat me down to tell me. Another thing is that I feel that considering the kind of person I knew I was, I doubt I would have listened to anybody trying to give me guidance then. I was full of zeal and wishing to explode.
Frankly speaking if I knew some things my ministry would have seen more results than I have today. My attitude to other people, how I acted towards those I considered as “worldly”, the way I left some ministers and ministries I was relating with, how I started some churches and outreaches. I can go on and on. Let me say that I have not totally recovered from some of those misadventures; yes, I am still carrying the scars. I just returned from a trip to Owerri (I currently live in Port Harcourt) to correct some mistake I made on Tuesday with Bishop Kenneth Eboh of Holiness Evangelistic Church.
Please, bear with me as I tell you what happened. Bishop Kenneth Eboh was one of the few ministers I met in Owerri in 1996 who saw the grace on my life and received me with open arms. He was then the Acting General Overseer of the organization that has branches all over Nigeria and other parts of Africa. This humble servant of God offered me the statues of a full fledged minister under this organization for free. I neglected his love while looking for my own “Paradise on earth”. There were many privileges which he offered me free; perhaps because he was so humble I did not value them. He dedicated my first daughter, Peace. He asked for nothing from me but often gave his own.
I went to other noisy ministers whose ministries did not have what Holiness Evangelistic Church had. He encouraged me to continue with my vision. Those others tried to brainwash me out of my vision. I begin to wonder now why it took me almost twenty years to realize all this.
By God’s grace I have covered grounds, grown bigger and more matured. Now I can see my mistakes and I decided to go back to this man, not for any other reason but to say “Thank You!” On the day I planned this trip I made another mistake; I had booked a meeting with some PNUR ministers in Port Harcourt. In fact, I was the one that moved the meeting to that date. Bishop on his part had cancelled even a meeting of senior ministers under his own organization for my sake. Imagine how embarrassed he was when I did not turn-up for the meeting. My own meeting ended by 1pm. I insisted I was still going to Owerri. He had expected me to call and ask for postponement. But that will be an insult on a man of his caliber. I was in his house at about 6pm. Why? I have learnt my lesson. Never to take humility and love for granted. I noticed that he was impressed to see how a proud preacher has learnt to be humble. He blessed me from his heart and I felt the anointing oozing all over me as I returned to Port Harcourt.
Many fresh ministers still make this mistake; they go to super rich pastor to pay their tithe and sow their seed. Little wonder why it yields nothing. Our text says that Elisha was terribly sick but the young king realized that he was still very important if Israel will have victory as before.
Have you neglected your real backbone for victory while chasing a man who does not even remember your name?
Let me have comments pls

Impotent Church; Impotent spiritual Leadership 5
The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.  A man in the crowd called out, "Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.  A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.  I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not."  "O unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here."  Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father. Luke 9:37-42NIV
Desperate cry but no help. If  it were possible today, many will just jump over many of us to make this kind of statement to Jesus. See how many posters and bill boards of great servants of Jesus littering all over our cities. Most of them laying claim to great anointing power. These claims are what really draw men to them but what do the seekers find? “I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not."  Even with begging, they cannot help. Even some of us charge them money, yet cannot help. Some sit in heaven-on-earth offices, yet are wretched.
Imagine how different they are to their master; their master was a man of prayer, they are political office seekers. Their master is compassionate but they seek their own interest. I have learnt through sad experience that most ministers are not asking where the Holy Spirit is leading them. What do they want to know then?
1.     Can you pay my air ticket?
2.     Will there be a large crowd there?
3.     What is the bank statement of the host-to-be? I don’t know about your country, some ministers in Nigeria ask boldly that they see your banking details before considering your invitation.
4.     How much can you afford as honorarium?
5.     Can you pay for a five star hotel?
Is it any surprise that they were in the valley when their master was stepping down from the mountain? Is it a surprise that they were so impotent and useless to that desperate seeker? Is it a surprise that all around them was noise and arguments?
Later they asked, “Why could we not cast it out?” Oh! That somebody will ask the question even now? Instead of mouthing empty boast words. Let a reader bow the head now before the shame comes. Anybody following this series already knows what I mean; some demons are cadets who flee at the slightest threat. But some will stay back and demand to know who speaks. “Jesus I know, Paul I know, but you, who are you?” You know what followed?
Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. Acts 19:16NIV
Which is better? To humble yourself now or be humbled by demons in the public?
Lord, please step into the problems of these desperate people even now. Please, Lord, intervene in their cases now. Direct them through your Holy Spirit to servants of yours who resemble you so that they will not misinterpreted it to mean that there is no more power in your Name
Again Lord show us our poverty, show us our emptiness, show us that we are disappointing you. Even those of us who are hiding our spiritual wretchedness, help us to learn what the scripture means by
He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Col 2:15NIV
Yes, let us know that even righteous Christ only triumphed when He made them public. Yes, Lord! That somebody will call me after now and say, “My brother I am wretched. Help!” Yes, Lord! That somebody will seek spiritual help by seeking counseling on how to escape from spiritual wretchedness.
Lord, this I ask on my knees in Jesus Name!

Impotent Church; Impotent Spiritual Leadership 4

Impotent Church; Impotent spiritual Leadership 4
They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.  Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil spirit cried out,  "What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are — the Holy One of God!"   "Be quiet!" said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!"  The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, "What is this? A new teaching — and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him."  Mark 1:21-27NIV
Oh! what a great difference lively preaching from spirit-filled pastors will make in our congregations! Demons are always at home in congregations where preachers are entertainers. They entertain with grammar, designer suits, flashy cars, and if they can afford it, comedians and worldly musicians. You will need your dictionary by your side if you will understand some preachers today.
For example, “If you don’t relocate, you will suffocate. If you are not informed, you will be deformed”. They boast about wisdom and give excellent interpretation of grace. Yes, they have to remain with grace because it allows them to say much while addressing nothing in the life of the people. They quote their great mentor and how he built the magnificent cathedral in the largest city in his country with the costliest aircraft in his fleet. They also quote many world leaders- I even heard one quoting Adolf Hitler. They rarely quote Christ; if they do, they quote Him out of contest, because there is no way to quote the grace Jesus presented without facing the truth He also brought. My own bible says that GRACE and TRUTH came from Jesus (John1:17), I don’t know what their bible say.
It is then not surprising that their messages are lifeless. It is the Holy Spirit that quickens the preacher’s preaching. By that He puts His signature to the message by declaring it a message from God. But the Holy Spirit cannot compromise His holiness hence cannot put His signature on lies, false testimonies and manipulations of disconnected preachers. You can now see why their messages are dead; sorry, the messages are poison. They are poison because they are just letters. Letters kill. Any person under such an atmosphere cannot have spiritual life. Only evil spirits can feel comfortable in such environment. But evil spirits need bodies to express themselves. So you can now understand why a neatly dressed man in the congregation was the mouth piece of the demons. This man could have been a board member of the congregation. Perhaps he was chairman of the men’s fellowship Imagine a man like this in a meeting where the church is talking about soul-winning. Imagine a man like this in a meeting where they have to talk about the choice of guest minister they have to invite to their conference. Imagine this kind of man in the midst of young ladies in the church. Imagine this kind of man in a meeting where they have to talk about the minister’s welfare.
Note his statement; "What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are — the Holy One of God!
There is a difference between the man in Mark5. In Mark5 they were many demons in one man but in this case there is only one demon - The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
Why then did he say “us”? He had dominated the congregation and won them over to his side. He has gained total control of their minds and makes them see things as he wants them to see it. He was quite at home.
If you are a minister and find yourself in this kind of assembly let me tell you some things you must not try. Do not call them for a general meeting to find a way of resolving the matter. Don’t try to reason with them, don’t try to come down to their level and help them come up to your level. Don’t invite a motivational speaker to stir up their self-confidence. In fact, don’t try any of the things you were taught in the bible schools, simply because it will be a waste of time and energy. They won’t work. The problem does not have a natural cause.
Apostle Paul once found himself in that kind of assembly. Hear what he said-
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.   For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.  I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.  My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. Cor 2:1-5NIV
That was also what Jesus Christ did; the people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law. … The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, "What is this? A new teaching — and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.
Powerful preaching backed up with the evidence of the Holy Spirit’s power. Demons cannot endure this kind of preaching. If you don’t upset those demons, you can’t move forward with the people. But how can you get such powerful preaching? Are they gotten by reading books of great men of God? Are they gotten by listening to their audio-messages? Are they gotten when mighty men of God lay hand on your head? Are they gotten when you sow a “power seed” into the life of a “super-rich-city-pastor”? No! My friend, total No!
Prayer! Withdraw into a solitary place and pray. Spend at least three hours in prayer before you mount the pulpit. Pray! I say again, Pray!  (Luke5:16). It is not possible to command power without prayer. Without power demons will mess-up your life, ministry and family. Demons are everywhere. When you soak yourself in prayer, you gain upper hand over them. Only by that can you cast them out.
May the grace that moved Jesus to pray begin to stir you now, in Jesus Name! May an extraordinary anointing of prayer rest upon you now in the mighty name of Jesus! Receive the grace of brokenness in prayer in Jesus Name! Demons cannot endure your presence in Jesus Name! Demons cannot hide under any cover in your home any more in Jesus Name!
Just begin to pray in the Spirit for at least five minutes as the Holy Spirit takes over. Continue in PRAYER!
